Job opportunity for a researcher fellowship (cat 30) at IPTS

The JRC at Seville (IPTS) has a job opportunity for a researcher (cat 30) under the Enlargment and Interaction Action 2013. The countries of origin of the participants have to be: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Israel, Lichtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Turkey.

More specifically, the Sustainable Production and Consumption Unit is looking for a researcher to work in the fields of technical minimum standards for waste treatment activities or best available techniques for the management of extractive waste (mining waste). The research will include the analysis of technical, environmental and economic aspects of waste management. It will prepare the implementation of Article 27 of the Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC) and the revision of the EU level technical reference for the management of tailings and waste-rock in mining activities (BREF document).
