The case studies for Environmentally Friendly Extraction Practices that were developed within the SARMa project include the Araxos quarry in Greece, the Kovilovaca Quarry in Serbia, the Lanca dei Francesi quarry in Italy, the Revarsarea and Iacobdeal quarries in Romania and the Šljunčara Trsenik quarry in Croatia.
